Victoria Ann Chacon

Victoria Ann Chacon, 27 year old female Junior High School and Sunday School teacher. What is wrong with a woman that is willing to destroy her life out of "love" or "lust" or whatever it is, for a 14 year old boy?

"A 27-year-old former Sunday
school teacher was arrested on
charges of distributing harmful
material to a minor after the
parents of a 14-year-old boy in
her church class discovered he
had a cell phone that contained
topless photos of the woman.

Victoria Ann Chacon, a former
Somerset Junior High School
teacher, met the boy at their church,
according to an arrest warrant.

Chacon was arrested Tuesday
and charged with display of
harmful material to a minor.
Chacon could not be reached

The man in me thinks, Victoria Ann Chacon, where were you when I was 14, you would have been a lot more fun than the Penthouse magazines. The father in me is mortified by the idea that a 27 year old teacher like Victoria Ann Chacon would be interested in a 14 year old for "companionship." The intellectual side of me is mystified at the mere idea of the relationship.

The really weird thing is, this keeps happening:

Ten years ago Vili Fualaau, then
a sixth grader in suburban Seattle,
and Mary Kay Letourneau, his
34-year-old teacher and a
married mother of four, began
an affair that produced two
children and became a
national scandal. This
month, the couple will
celebrate their one-year
wedding anniversary.

Do you think that maybe it is time to start doing psychological profiles of potential teachers to see if the are acceptable for the job?

Writers Wanted

In the spirit of community building The Political Coffeehouse is allowing other writers to publish articles and opinions that concern the news and politics. We are allowing 100 writers a chance to have their voices heard. As of March 1, 2009 the ability to publish is open. While I, J. Michael Warner am mostly pro libertarian and a capitalist, I will allow people to publish articles that present different viewpoints, as long as it is kept civil. Writers will be allowed to publish one article each day, articles must be at least 400 words long and may contain up to three links to your references or your own website or blog. In order to qualify you must sign up as a follower of this blog and submit a sample article to me with a head shot picture in jpeg format. I don't care if you use an alias, but no picture, no publish. Email jmichaelwarner(at)yahoo(dot)com

The Nine Principles

1. America is good.

2. I believe in God and He is the Center of my Life.

3. I must always try to be a more honest person than I was yesterday.

4. The family is sacred. My spouse and I are the ultimate authority, not the government.

5. If you break the law you pay the penalty. Justice is blind and no one is above it.

6. I have a right to life, liberty and pursuit of happiness, but there is no guarantee of equal results.

7. I work hard for what I have and I will share it with who I want to. Government cannot force me to be charitable.

8. It is not un-American for me to disagree with authority or to share my personal opinion.

9. The government works for me. I do not answer to them, they answer to me.
