Liberal Media Don't Matter

Watch out Libs, I am coming for you, both guns drawn and shooting! Hey, so I'm a guy and have watched probably a few to many action movies. So let me rephrase, I am coming at you with every key on my keyboard!

I was just reading an article at The Politico, the main gist of the story being that Moveon.org is not happy with Blue Dog Democrats for getting in Commandant Obama's way. In retaliation they have made commercials aimed at getting the Blue Dogs to mend their wandering ways.

“We are going to need almost every Democratic vote to pass the budget,” said MoveOn Executive Director Justin Ruben. “Our ads ensure the voices of our 5 million members and the millions of other Americans who support this budget can be heard over the army of lobbyists.”

Over the Army of Lobbyist? 5 Million members? Threats from a minion of the Supreme Socialist George Soros? It is all rather laughable folks. Moveon.org is nothing more than a lobbyist group for socialism and the Supreme Socialist Leader George Soros. 5 Million members? The moveon.org website is getting about 718 thousand hits per month and at the height of the last election they only had 2 million visitors per month. Not even close to 5 million.

So even if we give the 5 million to them, that means that less than 5% of the voting population is interested in their radical socialist cause. So why should any politician listen to them? If the Blue Dog Democrats want to listen to the constituents of their individual states instead of moveon.org, I applaud them!

In Defense Of Capitalism

I do not imagine that every person who joins or reads The Political Coffeehouse would agree with my exact philosophy.
