Jimmy Carter Cries Racism In Respect To Joe Wilson

Video of Jimmy Carter jumping on the band wagon calling Joe Wilson a racist for yelling "You Lie" to President Barack Obama. I find it mildly amusing how the left likes to cry racism every time someone says something they do not like. Personally I think it is an attempt to take peoples minds off of the real issues at hand. While the country is running around arguing about who is a racist, the national debt continues to climb, the left prepares to socialize our health care system, ACORN and SEIU continue to corrupt our political process, cap & trade is set to be voted on and George Soros collects billions in federal subsidies (taxpayer money) to pump oil out of Brazil (better to screw up someone else's environment and make a rich progressive even richer than to pump our own oil).

Another good question in all of this is: Why does the leftist media feel it necessary to find out what Jimmy Carter thinks about affairs of the state? I can't seem to remember one positive thing he accomplished during his Presidency, except for possible a jump in the sale of sweaters.

You know when they wheel out this bag of bones the left is in trouble. The desperation and continued denial of reality is both staggering and infinitely entertaining.

I personally think there is nothing wrong with a failed Anti-Semitic ex-president giving advice on racism. After all he has love for our enemies and hate for Jews - so that qualifies him as a spokesman for the left on moral issues like prejudice. I've always wondered though what liberal Jews and particularly the Ballerina Gangster and Adolf Axelrod think of their party when they have to resort to wheeling out this sack of human waste to lecture us on prejudice!

Involving the left or right in this has nothing to do with the simple fact that Joe Wilson felt it was OK to question a President from the House floor for the first time because the President is black. There is absolutely no way that the comment comes flying out with a white person standing at the podium. Carter simply said the truth that others can't or won't say...he doesn't care anymore what people think about him. www.sazlifestyle.com

The left pulls out the race card everytime they think they can get by with it. Now Congress has passed new rules that certain things can not be said. Whatever happened to the Constitution: "No law shall be passed restricting our 1st Amendment Rights?"

I am just wondering how the US House rectifies a constditution that they are sworn to uphold and internal rules that limit free speech. ...and in pre-empt of anyone who wants to go there the basis of the 1st amendment is two-fold - free political speech and free abhorrent speech - freedom of speech is to protect Joe Wilson's right to what he said because it was political and because people did not like it.

Add to that the double standard, as the president, just a few days later calls an actor a jackass and in response crys foul because of the claim of making a comment off the record.

So lets now talk about the race card - A Caucasion Joe Wilson, on the floor of an out of session congress remarks "you lie" and is admonished. On public TV, the president of the US calls an actor a jack-ass and nothing.

I guess race really is an issue, hoever not the issue that the media and liberals would have one believe.

Heath,

Why can't you folks get the facts straight - About 70% of the country is white. 15% of the country is Hispanic. So Blacks only make up about 12.8% (other minorities the rest)of the population. It took a very large number of white people to elect Obama. He could not have been elected otherwise!

The race card is getting old. As for me, I find the Black professor shouting obscenities at the white and very liberal cop - racist. I consider the black singer's public slander of a little white girl who won an award - proclaiming that a black woman should have won it - racism. I find Black Panthers carrying clubs and blocking whites from voting - racism. I find Barbara Boxer talking down to the head of the Black Chamber of Commerce - Racist.

But on this Animal Farm - only white males are allowed to be racist. Do white racists exist? sure. But right now, most of despicable racially motivated acts are coming from Black Radicals and the likes of that liberal Condescending female senator - with a very, very small "s"!

Are pundits like Glenn Beck, Rush Limbaugh and Newt Gingrich helping move the country in the right direction?

In Defense Of Capitalism

From Ayn Rand: "No man has the right to seek values from others by means of physical force--i.e., no man or group has the right to initiate the use of physical force against others. Men have the right to use force only in self-defense and only against those who initiate its use. Men must deal with one another as traders, giving value for value, by free, mutual consent to mutual benefit. The only social system that bars physical force from human relationships is laissez-faire capitalism.

Capitalism is a system based on the recognition of individual rights, including property right, in which the only function of the government is to protect individual rights, i.e., to protect men from those who initiate the use of physical force. I reject any form of fascism or socialism. I also reject any form of a mixed economy that regulates and redistributes wealth."

I do not imagine that every person who joins or reads The Political Coffeehouse would agree with my exact philosophy. But I do believe that we should join together to in order to further goals that we can agree on. The implementation of Marxist policies in the United States must be stopped. J. Michael Warner
