DUI Suspected In Motorcycle Accident

February 11th, 2012

A motorcycle accident resulted in an arrest last Monday afternoon.

According to an official statement from the Washington State Patrol, a 63-year-old cashed his motorcycle against a curb, which prompted the driver and his passenger to be ejected from the vehicle.

The 71-year-old passenger and the 63-year-old driver had to be taken to the hospital to treat moderate injuries.

A spokesperson for the Washington State Patrol revealed that both victims were wearing their helmets at the time of the crash.

As an injury lawyer Seattle I’m terribly saddened to learn about this accident, especially because a reportedly drunken rider might have caused it. I urge motorcyclists to never drink before riding since it could possibly lead to tragic accidents.

I hope both victims are now recovering quickly and without any major difficulties.
