Espresso Product Recalled for Burn Hazard
February 9th, 2012
The companies Gevalia, Maxwell House and Nabob recently recalled their espresso discs. The T Discs are plastic discs which get inserted into the coffee makers to brew single cups of coffee. So far, there have been 21 reports that mention problems for customers that included hot liquid or coffee grounds spraying onto them. Four reports of second-degree burn injuries were mentioned. As a Moncks Corner personal injury lawyer, I hope that nobody else is adversely affected by this unsafe product. The company also announced the recall to protect costumers from future injuries. Please check to see if you own this product and make sure that you get a refund.
Customers can fill out product registrations so they are kept informed of recalls. If you or a loved one were harmed by a hazardous product, get in touch with a personal injury lawyer who can protect your rights.
